Recently the health department has offered this year’s information about getting a flu shot. They will be regularly available on Thursday evenings from 5-7pm at the City Hall Annex (50 Evergreen Avenue). There are also sessions at other locations as well; be sure to see the link at the city page to the schedule of clinics offered at Senior Centers.

See the full announcement here on the city web site: 2012 Influenza (Flu) Vaccine Information

Remember: a flu shot doesn’t just help to protect you–it helps to protect the most vulnerable members of our community if we keep the virus from spreading: seniors, those too young to get vaccinations, and medically fragile kids like my nephew who battles leukemia, and other cancer patients as well.
