At the past few meetings of the Board of Aldermen, the agenda has included a request from Mayor Joe Curtatone to hold a closed-door meeting about the city's billboards and their owner, Clear Channel. At each meeting, the Journal has protested this request, as it violates the Open Meeting Law.
