This is the regular meeting of the Somerville Zoning Board of Appeals.
Agenda includes (16 Linden St.) a variance to add a 5-unit residence to a lot that already has a 3-unit structure and (485 Mystic Valley Pkwy.) convert the Mystic Water Works property into 60 affordable housing units.
Public notice includes routine variances to convert a garage into a dwelling (15 Park Pl.) and to establish a fast-food restaurant (248 Elm St.).
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial body that holds public hearings and grants or denies variances, Special Permit Applications for developments outside of the Planning Board jurisdiction, and appeals of administrative or enforcement decisions.
