This is the regular meeting of the Somerville Zoning Board of Appeals. The previous 9/7/11 meeting has been split into two meetings on 9/6 and 9/7.
The agenda includes developing a new two to three story mixed-use building consisting of a VFW hall and 31 residential units. Hearings on upgrades to a building on 70 Inner Belt Road have been deferred.
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial body that holds public hearings and grants or denies variances, Special Permit Applications for developments outside of the Planning Board jurisdiction, and appeals of administrative or enforcement decisions.
