One Response to “9/1/11 Planning Board Meeting”

  1. Just a note about tonight’s Planning Board meeting. No quorum, so no meeting. According to George Proakis, Kevin Prior works for MEMA and has been busy all week in Western Mass (what with the hurricane and all).

Absent a quorum, a PB member (Joe Favaloro was the only one I saw) read the Federal Realty case (133 Middlesex Ave, or Block 10) into the record and continued the case until September 15.

The word is that Avalon intends to go to the Design Review Committee Sept. 8 with their plans for residential-over-retail at blocks 1 and 4, to maybe appear at the Planning Board Oct. 6. (These blocks are part of the Assembly Square DIF.)

The Oct 20 P.B. agenda could include Avalon presenting Block 3 likewise. And, while the Green Line is in stasis, the Assembly Square Orange Line T-Stop is due out for construction bids shortly.
