“JUNKIE,” a new play by Somerville playwright John Shea, will be at the Boston Playwright’s Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Ave. Boston, August 25-September 4, 2011.  ”JUNKIE,” is the story of Cal, and his time in a drug rehabilitation program as he tries to put the pieces of his life back together.  Directed by Brett Marks and starring Sean Cote.  For tickets and more information, please visit www.argosproductions.com

    So sorry that I am unable to attend JUNKIE by playwright John Shea.I have met John and read all of his work and find him and his work to be exceptional. What I find most refreshing is that playwright Shea knows his work and has thrown “politicaly correct” out the window. I look forward to being back in Boston and can only hope to catch some of his work.
