Green Line Extension Project Update Public Meeting
Thurs. May 26 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Tufts University
51 Winthrop St.
Medford MA (map)
This is the regular meeting of the Green Line Extension Design Working Group.
Among other updates, the group will likely review an analysis by MassDOT and the MBTA on the feasibility of incorporating a light rail vehicle support facility into the Boston Engine Terminal.

According to STEP, which has membership on the Design Working Group, the main focus of the 5/26/ meeting will instead be a discussion of the updated design concepts for the Washington Street Station.
I have glanced at the analysis, and was not surprised to note that it argued against extending the Boston Engine Terminal on the basis of cost and capacity.
