PLEASE, SPREAD THE WORD!
Dear ‘Villens,
Somerville is embarking on a year long 350 Actions Challenge! Somerville Climate Action and partner organizations (in this case theMOVE), will be helping our community take 350 tangible steps to build a resilient, just, and sustainable community. The 350 Actions Challenge is designed to help us transition from fossil fuel dependence, ecological degradation, economic instability and social disconnection to low carbon lifestyles, ecosystem restoration, a local living economy and a vital close-knit community!
Thursday, February 3rd will provide a first opportunity to take an action. It’s easy:
1) Go to the 2011 Farm Share Fair and Sign up for a farm share for this summer! (If one share is too much for you, split it with a neighbor or a friend!) For this to count as a 350 Action, it needs to be the first time you sign up for a farm-share.
Thursday February 3rd | 5:30-8p
Democracy Center | 45 Mt Auburn St | Harvard Square
We’re bringing all the CSAs together in one place! Get the info you need to get signed up!
It may still be snowing, but now’s the time to get signed up for the summer!
Meet the folks who grow your food, and bring your checkbook to reserve a share!

2) Let us know you signed-up and which farm you connected with by emailing somervilleclimateaction@gmail.com
You’ll then be entered on our actions list and eligible for some sustainable prizes!
Sustainably yours,
Somerville Climate Action
