Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee Meeting

This is the monthly meeting of the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. At this meeting the group will discuss the Goals and Actions of the Corridors and Growth Districts committee and start to build maps showing these districts.
This is the meeting to get to! The group will begin a city-wide land use map showing the proposed development areas and their categorizations.

I’ve revised the teaser line at the request of Keith Craig of the city Planning Department, who called today (1/24/11) to point out that the city was not going to present maps of growth districts; instead, the group was going to start building such maps.
This is still the meeting to get to, however. We should start seeing the city’s long-range plan take shape on the maps.
