Somerville Youth Hockey is seeking energetic men & women (ages 25 +)  to be good teachers and be willing to develop, mentor and administer our growing program for our Mites, Squirts, Pee Wee, Bantams & Midgets. Coaches are unlimited, but hockey coaches who are truly professional, passionate, and can effectively communicate their knowledge are rare.

SYHA is looking for driven individuals who enjoy working with young people and want to teach aspiring hockey players to reach their full potential and achieve their dreams. The new renovated ice rink will be opening this fall. With our new facility opening up this fall, the league is also looking for candidates to run skill sessions, clinics, off-ice strength and conditioning as well as learn to play hockey lessons during our spring/summer months for our kids in the community. Interested applicants should email coachjohn@somervilleyouthhockey.org

All coaches must be certified through the USA Hockey Coaching Education Program. All volunteer coaches are required to attend clinics taught by USA Hockey certified instructors in order to be certified for the level of hockey they will be instructing.

Thank you for your support!

Respectfully,

John Teves – SYHA Director of Coaching
