This evening meeting is part of the on-site review of the Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization required to recertify the organization. Daytime meetings are also being held from Tuesday, July 27 to Thursday, July 29.
The Boston MPO must be certified by the federal government in order for the Boston area to receive federal funding for transportation improvements. Citizen input is an important part of this process.
