The Somerville Public Schools are OPEN all day tomorrow, May 3rd – and expect to be open throughout the water emergency. Students and staff are asked, if able, to bring their own safe, packaged beverages. Food service will be offering breakfast, lunch and snacks; the menu may be limited by the availability of water.

There IS school on Tuesday May 4.
Hand sanitizer is available for use in student bathrooms and classrooms. For additional information about hand washing during the water emergency please read the Superintendent’s web message online at http://www.somerville.k12.ma.us/central.
Students and staff should bring safe drinks to school each day, if possible, until the water emergency is lifted. The Food Service Department will be serving breakfast, lunch and snacks; menu and beverages may be limited by the availability of safe water and beverages. Packaged juice and water will be available in schools; quantities may be limited.
