Susan McLucas, longtime Somerville resident and social change activist, hosts the Boston premiere of “Secret of the Dawn,” a film about the movement to end female excision (FGM, aka female genital mutilation) in the Muslim country of Mali, West Africa. Learn about the cultural taboos, and the exciting impetus for change.
