Dear Acting City Solicitor Francis Wright and Purchasing Director Rositha Durham,
CC: City Clerk John Long
In the public interest and per MA public records law M.G.L. Chapter 66: Section 10, which states that
“A custodian of a public record shall, within ten days following receipt of a request for inspection or copy of a public record, comply with such request.”
I submit this request, extending my original, unfulfilled request (copied below), for the set of public records consisting of:
- Electronic copies of the City’s contracts with the FW Russell trash disposal company during the period Jan 2000- Jan 2010 plus any attachments which modified those contracts, as may be applicable. Acceptable file formats would be either PDF or MSWord.
- A list of any other records requests, with names and dates, for copies of these contracts. If no such requests exist in your records, a statement to that effect would suffice.
An acknowledgment of your receipt of this request as well as any update on progress would be greatly appreciated.
