Blueback Herring River Route Community Meeting

This meeting, sponsored by Mayor Curtatone and Alderman Pero, will present and request feedback from the public on the City’s plans to create the “Blueback Herring River Route” connecting Foss Park to Shore Drive, with improvements to the grounds of the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse in Ten Hills. The project is made possible by a grant from the Massachusetts Environmental Trust.
This meeting is important because it is the next of many planned improvements to Somerville’s access to the Mystic River.
