How Smaht Are You?
Union Square Main Streets marks its fifth anniversary with the ultimate contest. On Wednesday, February 24, 2010 join your neighbors, city officials and Somerville boosters of every stripe at the Somerville City Club. In teams of four to five pulled together especially for the event or introduced and joining forces that night, the evening of pub-style trivia will test your knowledge of all things Somerville. Doors open at 6 pm and the trivia contest begins at 7 pm.
Beyond the battle of Somerville knowledge, the evening features great music by Black Sea Salsa, good food and a cash bar, along with a silent auction.
A number of priceless prizes will be awarded throughout the night including:
A Fluffernutter Picnic for four on the tippy top of the often closed Prospect Hill Monument
Place as judge at this year’s Fluff Festival cooking contest
Gift certificates to area businesses
Union Square Main Streets was inspired by the trivia game show “Wicked Smaht” that was produced years ago by the City of Somerville’s Communications Department and cablecast on the government cable access television.
Admission is $30 per person or register your team of 4 for $120. Tickets now available on-line.
