    The Second Line Social Aid and Pleasure Society Band, one of our local HONK! performers, recently secured funding from the Somerville Arts Council to plan and deliver HONK! workshops in the schools in Fall 2010 before the October 2010 HONK! festival. What will they teach? New Orleans style-brass band music making and the role of music in social movements.

    This is one of the many things that makes HONK! special.
