Following an armed robbery in the Market Basket parking lot last October, store representatives promised the Aldermen to address safety issues by installing surveillance cameras and better lighting in the parking lot. They also promised to undertake a parking study to address concerns about overcrowding and parked cars in fire lanes.  I wonder how much progress they’ve made so far?

And all at 11:30 a.m. when presumably there were people around.I guess this is a good reminder that it can’t hurt to get into the habit of keeping your car doors locked at all times.

One Response to “Have Safety Issues Been Addressed at Market Basket?”

  1. Ben says:

the parking lot is a disaster.
they don’t have anyone outside helping the flow of traffic.
they allow the green cabs to speed right in at 35 and zoom up to the door to pick people up.
they should have speed bumps in that lot.
