Urban Ring Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting

Tues. Dec. 1, 5:00 PM

State Transportation Building
Conf Rms 2-3
10 Park Plaza
Boston MA (map)

This meeting of the Urban Ring Citizens Advisory Committee provides citizens an opportunity to hear MassDOT Secretary Jeffrey Mullan discuss Urban Ring planning in the context of the State’s fiscal situation and the MBTA maintenance requirements.

This is important because the current proposal uses buses, not light rail, and bypasses Somerville, providing only a spur to Assembly Square.

For background and issues to monitor, see Urban Ring Project.
