This idea of the whole city reading the same book is interesting.  What book would you recommend?  The Glass Castle?  The Audacity of Hope?

This spring Somerville will launch its first “one city, one book” reading campaign – a community read project in which we will try to get as many people as possible to read and discuss the same book. We’d like to have a logo for the program, which we hope will be repeated annually. The logo should say “Somerville Reads” and “one city, one book.” If anyone is interested in submitting ideas (no pay for this unfortunately, just credit as the designer of the logo), please send them to Nancy Milnor, Director of the Somerville Public Library. You can reach her at nmilnor at minlib dot net. We will have to make a decision at a meeting on December 10th, so please send ideas by then. Thanks!     [from ejacobs@minlib.net via somartscouncil@yahoogroups.com]
