Hey PDSers…As we approach the late afternoon of this city election, we need to get out there and help one of our endorsed candidates!
Christine Rafal, our ward 4 school committee endorsed candidate, has the votes needed to win this race but she needs more help to get her voters to the polls. The race is going to be a close one and the momentum is on her side in the final hours of this race!
Any time you have…from one hour to four hours…is needed to turn out her supporters in this important race!
Please call her campaign office at 617-335-6343 or shoot us an email if you can come out and help. This is it, any final help will make the difference needed to win!

Good Lord, Martinez. I could almost hear the angels singing when you lead the charge of the PDS brigade.
And for anyone who cares, Rafal did this on her own. She worked hard, knocked every door she could and gained the voter confidence. As usual, when the PDS elite sense they may have a winner, they flock to the candidate like Ron Newman to free food.

Somerspeak, I will believe it when I see that she can do things are her own. Hopefully she does not end up a follower like most of them on that committee. I am going tonight to the meeting to see what their plans are for preschool fees (which I am for) and see how much longer are they going to drag out closing the 6th grade at Brown.

Somerspeak – that was funny as Hell. For the record, yes, Christine did do the work herself and won yesterday all on her own merit. I respect that about her. I am quite certainly she will do a good job and for the right reasons.
Janine – if anyone makes a crack about me not being there because of the election yesterday, let them know I can’t walk today – and THAT is why i am not at the meeting tonight (my left ankle can’t support any weight on it at all and between that and my beaming sunburn, i am toast). Good luck tonight – both of these issues are very emotional and i truly wish i could make it tonight.

I’m wondering if you can exhibit more of your Dr. Jeckyl side (as fully evident on the SCAT debate video) and less Mr. Hyde while editing the News – it sounded like Imux was writing certain sections of Newstalk this morning.
It’s *your* paper – if you want to elevate the level of political discourse in town, you’ve certainly got the power, man.
