First, in case you haven’t heard–HONK! is returning! Columbus Day weekend centered in Davis Square. Musicians will be arriving on Thursday October 8th and Friday October 9th and will be leaving on Monday October 12th. We need places for groups of all sizes–singles, doubles, triples, quadruples, and yes, even those places where 25 spirited horn players can rest their weary heads. Most groups will not be arriving by car this year, so proximity to Davis Square and/or the Red Line is a priority.
We are expecting bands from Vancouver, Oakland, Austin, Chicago, Seattle, Minneapolis, Baltimore, New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, Montreal, Vermont, Providence, Bologna (Italy!) and Rome (Italy!). And bands range in size from 4 members (only one of these) to 25 (many of these!). So the need is great.
Can you help? Please let me know if you can host a musician or two (or 10), your address and telephone number, and precisely what sleeping arrangements you are able to offer. Your kindness will be recorded in the Great Book of HONK!, and you will be appreciated more than words can tell.
Thank you very much.

for the HONK! committee

I would love to host a honk member or two. A couple or single person would be best. We have a spare bedroom with a full size bed for the taking. We are a couple living in a two bed. There is one bathroom to share but we have plenty of towels for whomever stays. Looking forward to a fabulous HONK weekend as always.

Thank you! I’ve passed this along to Trudi, the Honk housing coordinator.

We live in Newton, which is pretty far away but have a 2 br apartment for anyone who might have a car. There’s a dbl, 2 twins and also two couches in the LR if needed (Bath has tub only). Full kitchen. It’s furnished.
We’re big Honk fans so would love to put someone up if they had a way to get back and forth to Somerville. 617-332-5968
