The Somerville Public Schools is celebrating local farms and farmers on Thursday, September 24th with fresh corn on the cob served at lunchtime.
Volunteers are sought to visit elementary schools between 7:30 and 8:00 AM morning of September 24th to shuck hundreds of ears of locally grown corn in the morning.
Please contact Charlotte Stephenson (cstephenson@k12.somerville.ma.us) in the Food Service Department of learn more about shucking corn with SPS students on the morning of Thursday, September 24th.
