As announced in the Somerville Journal : What should happen with the former Powder House Community School?

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and Ward 7 Alderman Robert Trane invite all interested community members to a public meeting to discuss the Powder House Community School site at 1060 Broadway.

The meeting will take place from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on Tuesday May 19, in the senior center community room at the Tufts Administration Building at 167 Holland Street. The discussion will focus on community goals for re-use of the school site, which was closed by the Somerville Board of Aldermen in 2003 due to declining enrollment and high operational costs.

For more information, please contact Brad Rawson in the Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development at 617-625-6600 x 2518.
