teenagers today get bored easily and use internet for many reasons which may not seem professional. One of the main reasons is interactivity. teens talk a lot with their friends. they share their everyday life with their friends and sometimes even the world. some examples of these are facebook, myspace, youtube, twitter etc. most teens even believe that these sites help them to escape their boredom. teens spend hours and hours in the internet just looking up stuff, communicating, in other ways dating, changing their status , watching videos, making it an excuse for not doing chores. more indoor activities are common now in teens rather than outdoor activities which were more common in the days. kids spend hours playing online games, interacting with friends, in a way, they are just hanging out with their friends but in a cyber world.

older people compared to us do not use the internet for the same purposes. they are more professional rather than social and use it in such ways like advertising, selling products, connecting with other companies etc. in other words, there is always always a difference in age and the way the internet is used and the way social media is used. different age, different way of thinking.
