my dream school is the best. a place where kids aren’t criticized about what they read, their smartness, or even color. all classes are fun, meaning activities are played and planned, students have opportunities given to take the classes they choose. students can create the clubs they want, all of this is great but it takes more than just a dream it takes commitment to make things this way. not from just you but the people around you. hard work will be needed but it can be done.

kids should wake up saying, “yes, its a beautiful day for school,” it should be a place thats fun to learn at. kids should have the freedom they deserve, the freedom they want. i know that a kid especially me would want the best learning environment possible; they may not say this but its true that kids want to learn but with the boring classes that we have today its just soooooo hard to stay focused and learn. especially for the kids that are very active like myself who has a small add. problem. when i say boring i mean like not enough interest is put into the planning. here of the examples for a more fun school: games played in class, music involved, more hands on activities. kids only act up because they’re having fun and should not be punished for that unless truly they are being rude and brat like. i, myself do not beleive in punishment unless it is a last resort to control a child, everyone should be having fun!

i see no reason that this could not be done. remember, your not the one who sits all day in uncomfortable metal chairs and writes all day. take an interest in our lives here’s the chance to make things right; and have fun with it!

Thanks, ratzabc! Sounds like you have so much to add to the conversation, and also can contribute ideas more specifically about the pacing of learning, and other stuff that you’ve learned along the way.

So i totally agree- it takes hard work to make dreams happen. What do you think is the next step?
