A jealous king. A phantom queen. A foundling child.
The Winter’s Tale,’ one of Shakespeare’s late tragicomedies, is gripping, funny, mysterious and beautiful. From the ruin and passionate remorse brought about by a king’s rage, this play builds to one of the most magical and joyful conclusions in all of theatre.
