Will your child be 3 by August 31, 2009? Are you interested in having your child be a typically developing peer in the Early Childhood Intervention Program (ECIP?)
If yes, NOW is the time to think about submitting an application to be entered into the lottery for a seat in this program. ECIP is a free, full-day pre-school program at the Capuano Early Childhood Center (150 Glen Street) that brings “typically developing peers” together with young children with disabilities to learn together. Spots in the ECIP program have expanded as part of the district’s work to expand special education inclusion opportunities. Visit the Parent Information Center (PIC) section of the district’s website to learn more about the ECIP program and lottery process. Completed applications are due at the PIC by March 13, 2009 at the latest.
