The Jesus fish kissing the Darwin fish? Why not? Our church is celebrating the 200th birthday of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of the publication of The Origin of Species this weekend with a special worship service. John Olson, a very engaging, poetic and funny parishioner of ours, is going to preach the sermon: “Loving Darwin,” inspiring us to understand that Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection, far from being in conflict with Creation theology, can connect us more deeply to the love of God. Science and religion, befriend one another!

We worship Sunday morning at 10am, First Church Somerville UCC, 89 College Ave at Francesca, and we’d love you to join us in our friendly, open, spirited community. www.firstchurchsomerville.org
