I’m seeing more crime in the area between Porter and Davis: home break-ins, fights, shootings, all of which are a result of the economic downturn. I am afraid, however, that things are going to get worse before they get better.

We’re holding our breath hoping that home/car repairs don’t become necessary before there is some recovery in the markets. The kid’s college funds just halved because of the downturn. I’m feeling concerned about whether the house is burgle-proof because I know there must be folks in desperate circumstances contemplating desperate things.
