College Goal Sunday on January 25th

Worried about getting college financial aid paperwork done on time?  Come to College Goal Sunday and get help getting your financial aid application done on time and accurately.

Kindergarten registration paperwork help

Worried about getting kindergarten registration paperwork done accurately and on time?  Come to a Kindergarten paperwork clinic to get help from the Parent Information Center staff.

  •  Monday, January 26thfrom 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Capuano Center (150 Glen Street)
  • Tuesday, January 27thfrom 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Capuano Center (150 Glen Street)
  • Wednesday, January 28thfrom 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the West Somerville Neighborhood School (177 Powderhouse Boulevard)
  • Thursday, January 29thfrom 2:00-7:00 PM at the Healey School (5 Meacham Street)

The Parent Information Center is open to give help Mondays –Thursdays from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM and on Fridays from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

 

Bye Bye Birdie at Somerville High School February 6-8

Bye Bye Birdie will be performed at Somerville High School February 6, 7 and 8.  This musical performance is open to the entire community to enjoy!  Ticket prices are $7 and $10.  Call Producer Rosemary Sears to learn more, 617-625-6600 x6100.

 

Student art on exhibit at the Nave Gallery

Love in the Revolution, a mural created and painted by Somerville Public Schools students is on display at the Nave Gallery (155 Powderhouse Boulevard).  See the mural Fridays from 6:00-8:00 PM and weekends from 1:00-5:00 PM  from January 16-February 7.  

 

Somerville Special Olympics Swim team

Special Olympians are sought for the Somerville Special Olympics Swim Team, which will compete in June 2009.  Call Aquatics Director Rich Cheney to learn more, 617-625-6600 x6676.
