Early Childhood Integrated Program (ECIP) Application Process

by Gretchen Kinder in Announcements, Schools and Youth, Uncategorized - Posted on January 2, 2009 at 11:09 am

ECIP is an integrated early childhood program with a mix of standard and special education children ages three and four. Classes meet four days per week for 5.25 hours per day. There is one teacher and one paraprofessional in each class for a maximum of 15 children.

There is always high demand for the “typically developing peer” seats in the ECIP classrooms.  Applications for the 2009-2010 school year will be accepted from February 4, 2009-March 13, 2009.  Applications may be obtained by visiting the Capuano School, attending an information session at the Capuano Center on either February 4th from 9:00-10:00 AM or February 5th from 5:00-6:00 PM, or by calling the Parent Information Center (PIC) at 617-625-6600 x6960.

The lottery for available “typically developing peer” slots in the ECIP program will be held on March 18, 2009 at 9:00 AM at the Capuano Center.

For more information please contact Pam Holmes, Early Childhood Supervisor, at 617-625-6600 x3640.
