Greetings, Students and Parents of Somerville!
My name is Joanna Stenning, and I am currently an intern here at Beyond the 4th Wall Theater and Creative Arts Studio, located at 7 Temple Place in Cambridge, MA. Beyond the 4th Wall is dedicated to providing children and teens with an affordable outlet for theater, visual, and performing arts. Students ages 9-15 are encouraged not only to develop as performers, but also to build self-confidence, learn how to work as a team, and to practice creative thinking–and to have a GREAT time while doing so!
We would like to invite children and teens from the Somerville area to participate in our Summer 2008 classes, camps, and events. If you’re interested, please take a look at the following summer programs:
Children’s Art Classes (ages 2-4)
This arts class is a place where parents and other caregivers can bring their children to socialize, create memories and explore together. Each 1 and 1 half hour session starts with 3 different Art Stations where your child can experiment with many types of materials. Using a different theme each week, parents will join their child in creating free form, non-product oriented paintings, textured collages, and play dough sculptures. Children then have a snack while enjoying Story time followed by singing and dancing during our Music and Movement section. Come play with us!
10 classes start June 3rd
Wednesdays 9:30am-11:00am
$200

An exciting way to explore yourself and the world through art!
In a relaxing yet inspiring, atmosphere, each workshop will explore a different medium; drawing, clay, painting or collage, to explore creative expression. You don’t have to be an artist to join. We welcome all newcomers to art who are interested in playing with materials and learning the joys of the process of creating.
