It’s great that people have been responding to Linda Conte’s post proposing a parent-made directory of summer camps and other summer educational activities. One person offered to design a web site for the directory so people can easily find what they’re looking for. Barry posted some information about what the city does. And a parent offered her own excellent database of summer activities.

We can have something really useful in time for summer. Please post a comment if you know of:

What the Somerville library and libraries in nearby communities offer for kids in the summer.

What the Y, the Boys and Girls Club, OPENAIR Circus, and other organizations offer.

Also museums, and anything else.

Many of these places have a wide range of offerings and their own web sites. We don’t need to copy all of that. But people who know about them could write a short summary of what’s there (including pros and cons), plus a link to the website.

Please include how much it costs, or at least some idea of the range.
